Amajammer is a LEARNING, MEETING and PERFORMANCE space for Amateur Musicians. Amajammer is a combination of the words 'Amateur' and 'Jammer'. Amajammer welcomes any musician, whether you are brand new to music, or have been playing for many years. Our goal is to help you gain confidence by offering you an opportunity to learn, improve, and play in front of other amateur musicians. We all offer valuable feedback and tips to help improve your performance. Many of our members have developed to the stage where they are now confident enough to play in a public setting.

When you sign-up to Amajammer, your profile is set to Public. This means that an other Amajammer member can view your profile. Non-members cannot see member profiles. You can change your profile to Private. This may disable some of your sharing options on Amajammer and other members may not be able to see your contributions. This is done by going to your Profile Page. Scroll down to Profile Privacy, toward the bottom of the page. Click on the small arrow and you will be shown the option to Make Profile Private/Public.

Click on the red 'Details/RSVP' button. This will take you to the event details page. Please read the entire Event Details page - you'll often need to click the 'Read-More' link to see the whole page. Pay special attention to the timing of the event in your location and any requirements. When you're ready to confirm your attendance, click the red 'RSVP' button. You'll be notified right away that you have a spot saved for you for that event. You'll also receive an email confirmation. If the event is an online event, the link to the event will be contained in the email confirmation. This link is personal to you. It will not work for anyone else so please do not share it. You will receive a reminder email 1 day before the event is due to begin. This reminder email will also contain the event link (for online events).

Please follow this procedure to change your password on Amajammer 1. Go to the member log-in area/drop-down list on the upper right corner of page 2. If you are logged in, choose 'log-out' at the bottom of the drop-down list 3. Then choose 'log-in from the same list 4. Choose 'log-in with email' 5. Choose 'forgot password' 6. Enter your email address 7. An email will be sent to you to reset your password 8. Open the email and follow the instructions to reset your password 9. Log in to Amajammer with your new password 10. You're done!

When embedding a link to your song from Soundcloud, it's important to check the security settings for that song in your Soundcloud account. Go to the song in your Soundcloud account and choose Permissions tab. Make sure that "Display Embed Code" is chosen. Save the settings before you leave Soundcloud Copy the song link from Soundcloud. That link should now embed correctly in the Amajammer Group Channels.
